Our Masterclass on ‘Drone Market and Ethics’ is with Dr Lafifa Jamal from University of Dhaka and Bangladesh Flying Labs.

The market for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles is growing rapidly as new applications and technologies are emerging to incorporate the use of UAVs in our daily life. From quick deliveries to give service in disaster-prone areas, drone features are proving to be extremely beneficial in places where a man cannot reach or is unable to perform in a timely and efficient manner. Whether we are new drone pilots or have years of experience, rules and safety tips exist to help us fly safely in the airspace. At the same time, it becomes essential to ensure data protection and ethics in using drones. In today’s class, we will explore the safety measures to fly drones; the checklist needed to be maintained to plan and execute a successful drone mission; and privacy and ethical issues while using drones.
